School day + Indigenous medicine pouch

The medicine pouch often referred to as a medicine bag, is a deeply spiritual and sacred item that has been use by Indigenous Peoples for thousands of years.

Today we learned how to make the medicine bag. The first native people used to put something special and important to them or some leaves of plant inside which was made of animal leather, sinew, leather strips, and beads and feather. These were used as decoration for the bag. After we finished making the medicine bag, we really felt successful and elated.

Before dinner, we met our new neighbors and a baby named Lucas. Lucas is such a sweet and cute little boy.

During dinner, we got burgers, French fries and iced teas. I made an upside-down burger and Anna made a no-burger burger. But it still tasted good. We got chicken meat, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and pickles. This burger was really mouthful.
